It generally is – the difference in the protection SPF 30 and SPF 50 provide is quite small but we let you decide for yourself:
SPF 30 allows about 3% of UVB rays to reach your skin. In other words, it blocks 97% of UVB rays.
While SPF 50 blocks about 98% of UVB rays, allowing only about 2% to reach your skin.
For how long after application am I protected?
We recommend reapplying regularly, at least once in 2 hours. The fairer your skin, the more often you should reapply. Consider reapplication also after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
Does the amount matter?
Yes, the effectiveness of SPF also depends on the amount applied. Most people do not apply enough sunscreen, which can significantly reduce the SPF protection.
Does this product cause discoloration when applied on darker skin tones?
